A la Carla

There are so many thoughts, feelings and emotions that come to mind when thinking about Carla.  To put it all down in a short paragraph does not do Carla justice.  Kind, loyal, respectful, responsive and most of all loving, giving and nurturing.  We’ve been friends for decades and I am grateful for her support, tenderness over the years. 

She is a rock, courageous and a strong woman who will accomplish whatever she sets her mind to and will work tirelessly on behalf of her clients and loved ones to accomplish their dreams.

Not long after a conversation about what I would love in a home, Carla called and said “Pam, I’ve found your Dream House”—now also keep in mind that we really liked our subdivision and really didn’t want to leave that location because it was close to the Elementary and High Schools that our children would eventually go to so we weren’t interested in leaving the area.  She found the house, to our amazement, with everything we wanted right down to the 3 Bradford Pears in the backyard and it was in our same neighborhood on a circle road away from the main road (which we were presently on).  Once we saw it, we wanted it and have been in it ever since and love it.

I have witnessed her tireless efforts to accomplish whatever she sets out to do with enthusiasm and diligence—whether personally or professionally. Working with Carla, you will find not only a person who is committed to what they are looking for (in making their realty dreams come true) but a friend by the time the process is over.

Over 20 years ago we met in a business relationship.  At that moment we connected on a professional level.  It was Carla's warm and inviting 'Southern Belle' personality attracted me to learn more about her career traits. She has a unique way to visualize rooms and recognize "what I couldn't see" in terms of paint color, night stands, lamp design and size of ceiling fan to scale in relation to room size.  From details (such as adding an extra box springs to elevate a bed) to total room design, it's the little things. She assisted in a complete remodel of our master bedroom and bath in 2013.  We traveled overseas and left our bed/bath design in her hands. 

Recently when school released for summer break, she met with my 14-year-old daughter on two occasions to plan and then shop for the redesign of a teenager's bedroom. When my daughter returned from a summer mission trip it was awesome to see the sparkle in her eyes and joy on her face when she walked into her "new room"!  My daughter 'disappears' now to her new space. She was pleased with the details placed with the finishing touches.
