ABOUT ME

“I think that one of these days you're going to have to find out where you want to go.

And then you've got to start going there."

~ JD Salinger,
The Catcher in the Rye

Every summer I spent a week with my grandparents doing wonderful things that helped me appreciate the simple things in life: gardening, canning vegetables, baking, cooking and even sitting on the porch and listening to everyone’s stories of their childhood and their adventures.

Both of my grandmothers encouraged my self-expression, allowing me to rearrange furniture, choosing their outfits and accessories while praising my style and taste.  These are the moments that I cherish to this day and do my best to replicate with my daughters and my granddaughters.

Growing up in the country and being able to experience a variety of opportunities provided a substantial foundation for me.  My parents were educators and were intent on making sure I had a good education.  Their sacrifice allowed me to attend Meredith College, a private women’s school in Raleigh, NC.  It was there that
I first heard the expression, “Treat your company like family and your family like company.”  This phrase has become my life’s motto.

In every aspect of my life, I keep this motto close to my heart.  My true passion is to listen to what people need, provide options, solutions and resources so they can hopefully live a happier and more fulfilled life.

Most of us have worn multiple hats throughout our personal and professional lives.  Referencing the lessons I’ve learned through my experiences, I take great pride in assisting people in whatever capacity they need.
I truly enjoy helping others create an experience that will enhance their life.

From whimsical to elegant, simple to ornate, traditional to modern, easy to intricate, let me help you!

When you have an idea or a thought you want to put into action, call me!

"Every day
is a holiday.

Every day
is a gift."
